Cristina is a dedicated veterinary surgeon with over 25 years of experience in 24/7 veterinary hospital settings. A lifelong learner, she developed expertise in surgery while earning her Master’s degree in Traumatology and Orthopaedic Surgery from the Complutense University of Madrid in 2014. She has completed numerous advanced courses, including thoracic-abdominal surgery and advanced ultrasound techniques, encompassing abdominal, thoracic, and musculoskeletal imaging.

After relocating from Madrid to Scotland in 2019, Cristina continues to pursue professional excellence as part of dynamic veterinary teams. She is currently enrolled in the Certificate of Advanced Veterinary Practice (CertAVP) at the Royal Veterinary College, with a special interest in laparoscopic surgery and neurosurgery.

Her dedication to client care, passion for continuous improvement, and strong interpersonal skills make her a trusted and compassionate veterinary professional. When not at work, Cristina enjoys exploring the scenic hiking trails of North East Scotland. She also delights in cooking traditional Spanish dishes for her family and friends, bringing a taste of her homeland to her new Scottish home.
