Eleanor Mace

Ellie qualified from Harper Adams University in July 2023 with a First-Class Honours degree in Veterinary Nursing. Ellie's degree programme allowed her to study at interprofessional and specialist facilities, practice evidence-based veterinary nursing from the start of her course and complete her practical skills training within a fast-paced 24hr veterinary hospital. After taking a sabbatical year, working as the Student Union's President and travelling in Oceana, Ellie joined AVR in January 2025, keen to step back into clinical nursing and progress her referral nursing skills. In practice, Ellie has interests in Medicine and enjoys scrubbing into theatre to assist the Veterinary Surgeons; outside of practice, Ellie enjoys exploring her new home in Aberdeenshire, getting into the gym/pool and adventuring abroad.
