Leah Reid

Leah joined the AVR team in December 2024 after having completed her Animal Care Certificate at SRUC in 2023. In between qualifying and joining the team, Leah spent her time working at a local kennels, looking after cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes. 

When at work, Leah's focus is to look after the patients in our care; she administers medications, walks and feeds them and generally spends time with them, giving TLC. Also, Leah supports the team throughout the day by preparing for procedures, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and occasionally gets to go into theatre to support the vet and nurses.

Outside of work, Leah's dog Miller is her world! They both LOVE the beach and weather permitting, is up there most weekends.
